Kristina Eriksson, a qualified home economics teacher, has spent more than ten years working as a freelance food writer for a number of magazines. She has also written a number of cookery books, including Sandwich Cakes, Hearty Casseroles and Cakes and Biscuits Galore. The wonderful mouth-watering pictures are the work of the photographer Anna Clarén.
