Stomach Wise
David EkFrom having been the least talked about organ in the body, the stomach is suddenly all the rage. Many people suffer from different kinds of stomach problems, from heartburn to inflammation and IBS and the latest research shows that when our digestive system is upset it can have an impact on the entire body. This book tells you about the connection between the stomach and the brain and teaches you about all the important bacteria in your body and how you can eat as ”stomach wisely” as possible.
Reducing stress, sleeping better and thinking about what you eat are just some of the many things you can do to help your stomach, but bacterial flora is one of the most exciting aspects of digestive health. In Stomach Wise, David Jonsson, a nutritionist who is particularly interested in the stomach and gut, shares his extensive expertise and tells us what we can do to improve our health via the stomach. He presents us with clever lists of stomach-wise food, tells us why it is important to eat whole food and answers the question if it is really true that eating dirt can be good for your stomach.
The book contains over 30 recipes for every meal of the day, including the ever-important snack.
