The Blind King
The Blind KingNils Håkanson
Christmastime, 1922. During a burglary of an obscure antique dealer in Stockholm, Tycho Brahe’s last diary is stolen. The motley crew of private detectives, fraudsters, and former agents who make up Department Vanadis are tasked with finding the stolen goods.
But as they delve deeper into their investigation, the trail is more puzzling than enlightening, and leads straight into a jumble of battered Santa Clauses, jazz clubs, murderous toy manufacturers and doomsday cults.
Set in a Stockholm where neon lights flash above churches and statues of kings, the group is cast head-first into a story that reaches far back in history, and at the same time cuts right into the heart of an expanding, modern Sweden. A standalone follow-up to THE IRONSKULL.
