Tina’s WeekendsTina Nordström, illustrated by Stina Wirsén
Does it sometimes feel as though a week has far too many Mondays and not enough Fridays? All of us love the feeling
of coming home and putting the full-to-bursting shopping bags down in the hall, looking forward to a weekend of great food. But it takes some planning, and that’s where Tina’s Weekends comes in handy. It is full of all the recipes and inspiration
you need for weekend meals, divided into Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.
Many of the dishes are golden oldies that taste even better with Tina’s touch. Fridays are all about quick to rustle up meals that you can eat with your family in front of the television or gathered around a cluttered kitchen table. On Saturdays we often invite friends over and put more time and effort into cooking. We serve a starter and choose a nice bottle of wine. Sunday is the day when we can lay out a brunch that lasts a whole day, with French toast, egg dishes with vegetables, sandwich cake like you have never seen before and delicious cakes.
