Where the Geenies dance

Martin Widmark, illustrated by Jessica Enneby Eldenstjärna

Martin Widmark has written, and Louise Hoffsten has recorded and written the music for, a story about creativity and what happens when we create. The book is a work involving all art forms, in which words, pictures and music inspire each other! A 32-page picture book for young and old, where Eldenstjärna’s illustrations imaginatively interpret the three children who dance down from Mount Olympus and inspire the human beings they meet. What happens when we create? And what happens if you do violence to your own creations? One of the themes of the book is that creativity cannot be captured or restrained, but must be allowed to live freely. ON the accompanying CD Louise Hoffsten, together with Georg Riedel and Peder af Ugglas have improvised music. Together the words, pictures and music form a whole in which three branches of art meet and enrich each other. An experience for all the senses, that invite you to dance!
