Clear your calendars and make room on the couch, because tomorrow night, February 9th, THE DARK HEART premieres on Discovery+!

The series is based on Joakim Palmkvist’s thriller-like true-crime sensation of the same name, which was first published by Albert Bonniers Förlag in 2017 and tells the story of  a Missing People volunteer who solved a murder case that had left the police befuddled in Förlösa, 2012.

It is produced by the leading Swedish production company FLX, the team behind international Netflix hits such as Quicksand, Bonus Family, and Love and Anarchy. THE DARK HEART recently had its world premiere at the Sundance Film Festival, where it was selected for the category Indie Episodic.

Bonnier Rights sold the film/TV-rights to the book to FLX in the summer of 2021. The book can be read in English, Russian and Polish.
