Joanna Rubin Dranger
Joanna Rubin Dranger, b. 1970, is a Swedish author and illustrator.
Her debut graphic novel Miss Remarkable & Her Career was published to great acclaim in 1999 and was published in 7 languages, including the US.
Joanna was Sweden’s first female professor of illustration, and held this position at Konstfack University of Arts between 2007-2017.
REMEMBER US TO LIFE, her documentary graphic novel about her family and Jewish heritage, came out in 2022 and was awarded the prestigious Nordic Council Literature Prize in 2023.
