Carin Wirsén

Carin Wirsén was born in 1943. In the 60’s she studied to become an art teacher, in the 70’s she returned to the university when she decided to become a teacher specialized in disabled students. She started to write books for children in the 90’s, the main cause is according to herself her grandchildren. She was flabbergasted at the lack of quality in TV for the youngest children, and that caused her to start writing a TV show that later evolved together with her daughter Stina into a series of books for younger children.
