Donia Saleh
Donia Saleh, born 1996 in Uppsala, Sweden, is a writer and critic based in Stockholm. Saleh has an MFA in creative writing from the HDK-Valand Academy of Art and Design at the University of Gothenburg. Her essays and reviews appear in national Swedish publications and she also teaches in the creative writing program at Folkuniversitetet. Her debut, Ya Leila, was published in 2020 to critical and popular acclaim, and was nominated for two of Sweden’s most prestigious annual awards for emerging writers: the Borås Tidning Debut Prize and the Catapult Prize, awarded by the Swedish Writers’ Union.
Bile Red is her second novel.
