Magnus Fridh (b. 1970) grew up in Karlshamn, Blekinge, in southern Sweden. Magnus discovered meditation in his teenage years, and through academic studies in Indology, specialising in Tibetan language and culture, he gained an in-depth knowledge of the subject. He regularly teaches group Ashtanga yoga, mindfulness and meditation classes.

Magnus is also one of the founders of the Mindfulness app. The app has become wildly popular around the world, having been translated into 13 languages and involved in a number of ongoing research projects.

The Art of Stillness in a Noisy World is Magnus’ second book.

Jenny Alm Dahlgren (b. 1980) hails from Karlstad but moved to Gothenburg for her studies and now lives in Uddevalla together with her husband, three children, one cat and four rabbits. She is a part-time doctor and devotes one day a week to her writing. She likes to split her free time between family and friends, preferably in her absolute favourite spots – the garden or the library.

The new easy-to-read series Team Animal is Jenny’s debut and is perfect for the pet-lover who wants to practice reading.

Ingrid and Joachim Wall, Kim Wall’s parents, are both journalists. They live outside Trelleborg in Southern Sweden.
