LINDA FORSELL is an award-winning freelance photo journalist based in Stockholm. Her photographs have been published in a number of major Scandinavian magazines and newspapers, as well as in international publications such as The Guardian, Washington Post, Vice Magazine, The New Yorker’s Photo Booth and La Repubblica. Between 2011 and 2015 she covered North America from New York for the Swedish newspapers Dagens Nyheter and Dagens Näringsliv. She has also travelled the world documenting the lives of vulnerable women, and as part of her major photography project Children who Have Children, where she spent two years photographing girls in Guatemala who had become mothers before the age of 15. Linda Forsell’s photographs have won many accolades and have been shown at exhibitions around the world, including in Beijing, London and the USA.
Zeina Mourtada is the woman behind the multi-award winning ‘Zeina’s Kitchen’, one of Sweden’s biggest food blogs. After starting a cooking group on Facebook in 2014, Zeina’s recipes with their Middle Eastern influences quickly garnered attention. When the members of her group reached 50,000 she started her own blog which has continued to attract thousands of visitors every day.
Melody Farshin (b. 1988) was born and raised in Stockholm and debuted as a stand-up comedian in 2008. Since then she has been seen and heard on stand-up stages all over Sweden, on the children’s progam Bolibompa, Comedy Cenral, as well as during her nationwide tours with the National Theater, and in several radio programs. Melody has also worked as a skilful debater and columnist. For two years in a row, she has been a very popular host for the immensely popular Poetry Slam competition The City’s Best Poet.
Jenny Bergman is born and raised in Lund, but now lives and works in Stockholm with her family. Jenny has graduated from the writing school at Biskop Arnö and Stockholm University of Arts, and works as a radio and tv producer, as well as a documentary film director when she’s not writing books. Her debut came in 2019 with the picture book HELLO ALL MONSTERS! and in the summer of 2021 came her second book I AM THE TROLL.
JESSICA NORRBOM holds a PhD in physiology and works as a researcher on molecular occupational physiology at the Karolinska Institutet. She is a renowned lecturer on health and a teacher of physiology at a number of institutes of higher education, as well as having written several books. Jessica also works as a personal trainer.
