Maria Adolfsson (b. 1958) lives in Stockholm where she writes full-time. The Doggerland series has fast become an international bestseller, has been translated to 19 languages to date and has sold over 325,000 copies in Sweden alone.

PhD Soki Choi did her thesis on complex health care systems at the Karolinska Institute, and she has been a guest researcher at Harvard. She also holds a degree in business administration and economics from the Stockholm School of Ecomomics. Soki has given lectures all around the world on health and the health care of the future, including at a TED talk. She has also worked as an R&D advisor to the Karolinska University Hospital, and received an award for the best thesis in Europe. At the beginning of the 21st century she received global attention as a pioneer within IT after creating one of the world’s first app companies. In 2004, Swedish state television SVT showed a documentary about Soki Choi.

Elena Serrato is both an artist, graphic designer and illustrator, who lives in Seville, Spain. In her pictures, the figurative is mixed with the abstract in a way that accommodates both humor and magic. Serrato has illustrated books, album covers, articles and games. She’s influenced by the painter Gerard Munthe, Japanese cartoons, Aztec art and Bulgarian folklore.
