JENNY WARSÉN grew up on the island of Öland, where she discovered the joy of cooking and baking at a young age. In her teens, Jenny’s interest really took hold, seeing her work her way through a constant stream of baking books.

Nowadays, Jenny lives in Kalmar with her four children and dog Charlie. Her love of baking remains just as strong, as evidenced by her popular food and baking blog, www.jennysmatblogg.nu – the biggest in Scandinavia, attracting hundreds of thousands of unique visitors each week.

For more than twenty years, Ylva Hällen has created and been involved in popular television programmes for children. She has also written for children’s theatre and worked as a director, producer, songwriter, and illustrator.

BRUTUS ÖSTLING, born in Stockholm in 1958, made his breakthrough as a bird photographer in 2005. Several of his photography books have become bestsellers in Sweden, as well as being published in the likes of the USA and UK. In 2009, Östling won the prestigious August Prize in the category Best Swedish Non-Fiction Book of the Year with Att överleva dagen (‘Surviving the day’).
