Princess Christina, Mrs. Magnuson is the sister of King Carl XVI Gustaf. After graduating in 1963, she attended Radcliffe College in the USA and later studied art history at Stockholm University. For many years, she was Working Chairperson of the Board for the Swedish Red Cross and has also engaged in projects of the International Red Cross. Her contributions include representing the Royal Family on countless occasions, especially relating to Swedish dance and other modes of cultural expression.
Sara Kadefors has always enjoyed writing and has been encouraged in her endeavors. That was the reason behind her becoming a journalist. But Sara no longer works with journalism; instead, she now writes manuscripts for TV series and films. In the spring of 2001, she made her writing debut with the book Långlördag i city, (A long Saturday in the city), and Sandor slash Ida was on the bookshelves by autumn. It has by now sold over 175 000 copies in Sweden and it was awarded with the August prize for best juvenile novel 2001. She is also the author of the two novels Fågelbovägen 32 (2006) and Borta bäst (2009).
