Daniel Birnbaum (b. 1963) is a critic and professor in art theory. He previously headed up the Modern Museum of Art in Stockholm, and has produced exhibitions in museums in Europe, Asia and the US. In 2009 he was the head of the Venice Biennale, which is the scene of Schellenberg’s Ring.
Helena Dahlgren (b. 1980) is a writer, translator, and die-hard anglophile. She has written over 20 books for both children and adults. In 2022, her acclaimed novel Sharp was published and she is also the creator of the popular historical romance series ‘Ellen’s Choice’.
Anna Larsson (b. 1971) has a master’s degree in economics and runs her own consultancy business. Her debut, Rumour Has It, came in 2021, a passionate and entertaining novel set partly in the Swedish publishing world and partly in Hollywood. It sold over 20,000 copies and sold to four countries. Anna grew up in Falun but now lives with her family outside of Stockholm.
Ann Rosman (b.1973) is author of the highly popular Marstrand series, set on the picturesque coastal island of Marstrand just outside of Gothenburg, featuring police detective Karin Adler. Ann’s debut The Lighthouse Keeper’s Daughter was published in 2009 and begins the Marstrand series with Karin Adler in the lead. The other titles in the series are The Soul Coffin, The Guardian of Porto Franco, Mercurium, The Sea Cat and In Deep Water and which have sold into seven languages to date. Ann lives and works in Marstrand.
