Mikael Berglund (b. 1977) was born in Ammarnäs and grew up in Umeå, where he still lives. He debuted in 2015 with the novel An Object’s Tale of Unrequital, which was nominated for the acclaimed Swedish debut award Katapultpriset. The Aboveground is his third novel. Apart from writing, Mikael works as a graphic designer and runs a book café in Umeå.

SOFIA ÅHMAN is a physical training instructor from Umeå who has been working in the fitness industry for over 20 years.
For the past three years, she has also been the Swedish TV programme Go’ kväll’s training expert.

DOREEN MÅNSSON is an amateur grower, producer, debater and TV presenter and has written for the Swedish gardening magazine Allt om trädgård.
