Joachim Petterson is a devoted recreational beekeeper with six hives in his garden. He lives in Bromma, Stockholm, with his family and is an art director, book designer and teacher at Beckmans College of Design, Grafiska institutet and Stockholm University.

The author and flower arranger Minna Mercke Schmidt has been writing the popular blog Blomsterverkstad (Flower workshop) since 2006. Before that she wrote Blomstrande idéer (Blossoming ideas).

KRISTOFFER AHLSTRÖM, born in 1980, is a Doctor of Theoretical Philosophy. He has been working at Rutgers University and the University of Massachusetts Amherst, and is now working for the University of Copenhagen. He is working with questions of social theory of knowledge and empirical psychology. This is his debut as an author.

MONICA EISENMAN and LISA EISENMAN FRISK have co-authored a number of cookbooks: Two Sisters’ Sweets, Soups, Breads and Spreads, Winter Sweets, Summer Sweets and The Eisenman Sisters’ Party Food. Monica has also written and designed Monica Eisenman’s Asia Noodles, Salads and Stir Fries. For several years the two sisters ran The Cookbook Café together, a combined cookbook store and restaurant. They have made many appearances on TV and their work has been featured in numerous magazines and newspapers.
