Åsa and Mats Ottosson are both journalists and writers with a close relationship to nature. Together with nature photographer Roine Magnusson, they’ve written several books including the acclaimed Close to Birds (August Prize nominated 2017) and Kor – a love story ( Pandabook of the Year 2012). They all have long-standing professional relationships with both practitioners and researchers and have interviewed hundreds of people about what experiences with nature can mean for our health.
Katarina Genar has lived in Germany, France and lives now in Sweden with her family. When she is not writing, she works as a speech therapist with children’s language development.
Since her debut in 2010, she has published several critically acclaimed books that are loved by the young readers. In her writing she is often inspired by what she experiences, sees or hears: a melancholy piano tune, a few swings on a deserted playground or a hand painted china cup with blue flowers that suddenly put her imagination in motion.
Carin Hjulström, born 1963, is a journalist and television presenter. She writes columns and has also been working as a scriptwriter for TV. She made her debut in 2009 with the very popular novel Finns inte på kartan. A year later, an independent sequel was published, Hitta vilse. With Kaja’s journey (2012), she portrayed an exciting era in Sweden’s history in novel form.
