Sara Hjardar
Sara Hjardar (b. 1998) lives in Fredrikstad. She has a bachelor’s degree in graphic design and illustration from Oslo National Academy of the Arts. In the autumn of 2021, she won a big comic competition, beating out over 200 submissions, resulting in a book contract. This led to the release of her first book in the Mia Myhr-series, that was released in the autumn of 2022. It was greatly received, gaining a 6 out of 6 rating from Norway’s largestnewspaper VG. They wrote: “A fabulous comic debut reminiscent of Stranger Things and Coraline.”
