Animal café

Camilla Ceder, illustrated by Sanna Mander

What wouldn’t you do to have a pet? Almost anything. But having a father who is allergic to fur and a naughty little brother, things don’t look promising. A good business idea is necessary!

Sally – Animals Friend is a delightful and hilariously amusing series full of charming and ingenious ideas as to how to get a pet of one’s own (or be near to someone else’s). Perfect books to read alone or out loud together.

Sally really wants Nadja to be her best friend – especially when Nadja has the sweetest dog in the world. Today they are off to town with hopefully a visit to a café. But it turns out that Nadja`s dog is not welcome inside the café and of course Sally just has to stick up for animal rights. A café that allows animals is what the town needs! She is certain that hundreds of animals would love to go to a café. So it’s just to start baking, something for every taste.
This is the first in the series “Sally – Animals Friend”.

Author Camilla Ceder has a background in social work. Her previous books for adults have been sold in many countries. As a child she nagged her way into getting many pets: a horse, a cat, a dog, a budgerigar, a rabbit and more. The books about Sally are her first venture into the world of children’s books.
