Magnus Ljunggren, illustrated by Mats VänehemYalam and Samir train on the same team. They`ll take the bus home from a match as no-one has the time to pick them up but they have been given money for sweets. They can’t think of anything but the sweets so things don’t go well either on the football pitch or on the bus!
After the match they buy sweets. They know that they must take the number 6 bus and pass thirteen bus stops to get home. As they approach the bus stop the bus is just coming in, they run to catch it, sit right at the back and start eating their sweets. After a while they look outside but cannot recognize where they are and now it’s getting dark. Finally Samir presses the bell, the bus stops and they get off. But it`s the wrong stop and to their dismay the battery on Yalam’s mobile phone has run out. And to top it all, two drunks come along…..
In this new Best Club series of Magnus Ljungren and Mats Vänehem , two teams train together, a boys team and a girls team. Each book is an independent story about the players in the teams. In Tough Game, the second book that is published along with Bamboozled, we meet Tina who makes a tackle that nobody ever wants to see on a football pitch.
