Concrete CraftsSimple Projects from Jewelry to Place Settings, Birdbaths to Umbrella StandsSusanna Zacke, Sania Hedengren
Casting in concrete is not at all difficult; you can produce professional-looking concrete items and pieces of furniture in just one day!
You simply mix the fine concrete with water, and pour it into different moulds. Once the concrete has set, you remove it from the mould, and there you are – all done!
Once you have tackled your first project, which might be something as simple as a bowl for candles, new ideas will soon come to you. It’s difficult to stop, because working with this solid, rough, tough material is so much fun!
Susanna Zacke and Sania Hedengren describe simply and clearly how to make beautiful bowls, pretty candlesticks, lovely dishes and many other handy items for both indoor and outdoor use.
The book contains no less than 33 large and small projects – everything from jewellery to impressive pieces of furniture. And they all show how versatile concrete can be!
