There are lots of cows and calves on Pelle´s farm, including his favourite cow Saga. And she’s about to give birth to a calf. How exciting! While Pelle and his grandmother are waiting for the little calf to be born, she tells him tales about how life used to be on the farm, before there were milking machines and tractors.
