First Aid for Animals

Grethe Rottböll, illustrated by Anna-Karin Garhamn

Udde and Leija have started First Aid for Animals. There are a lot of animals out there that need their help and many of them are surprisingly close – just outside the house or even in the drawer. The club has its own motto: ”Don’t be scared of nature, care for nature!”. This is a wonderful mix of facts and tales and teaches you that every little thing you do can
make a difference.
In the book’s short chapters we follow Udde and Leija when they help bats, swallows, butterflies, frogs, mice, mason bees and hedgehogs. But what can you do for the yucky animals that nobody seems to want?
