Hugo “Herring” Ström is six years old and his life is about to turn upside down when he gets a little brother. Herring is waiting for Mum and Dad to return from the hospital. And it turns out it takes a long time to get a baby brother. Luckily, Grandpa is really good at inventing things, and they have Maggan the goat’s company as well. They have to find ways to pass the time and quieten the nerves buzzing around like bees in his chest, now that everything is going to be different and new.

This is the first book in Anna Ehring’s new series about feelings, thoughts – big and small – and making friends. It features six-year-old Herring and wonderful and witty illustrations by Moa Graaf.
