Hop, Hasse! is the second book in an easy-to-read series about pets by Margareta Nordqvist, the illustrator of the popular books about Sigge the pony. Animal Friends is part of the Extra Easy to Read series for those who are just beginning to learn how to read. Cool, easy reading in capital letters!

In the series we follow Maja, Lasse, Pelle and Ella who all live in the country and take care of different animals. In the first book Maja’s cat had kittens, and in the third book, due out in spring 2010, Pelle and his Labrador Poppe will be at the centre of the action. This time, Lasse and his sister Lisa build an obstacle course for their rabbits, Bruno and Hasse. Bruno hops over the obstacles, but Hasse doesn’t want to know – just a minute, where’s Hasse gone?
