Hugo – What A Circus

Mia Nilsson, illustrated by Mia Nilsson

Circus performer and tight-rope dancer Hugo the crocodile was lost, and ended up deep in the forest in the North. Here Hugo has made a home for himself and found new friends but he is now starting to miss the adventures of the circus. Hugo decides they could make a circus in the forest:
The wolf is strong, the rabbit is probably supple, the otter is brave, the wild boar juggles.. and Hugo could dance on the line.

The book has a delightful humorous tone with lovely, clever, descriptive pictures, a brilliant layout and a good storyline. A good book for parents looking for a heart-warming modern story with just the right amount of excitement. We find ourselves in a book world comparable to The Seven Mile Forest.
