Kurran’s Treasure

Lisa Moroni, illustrated by Lisa Moroni

Kurran and Pigan are best friends. One day they decide to go on a treasure hunt. Kurran finds a wonderful treasure. But how heavy it is! And then it starts to rain so they decide to bury it. But when they come back to get it, their treasure is gone. They can’t imagine what has happened to it and start searching for it. They dig and dig, all over the place. As they explore the wood they meet many animals who become their friends. And when they finally find their treasure there’s enough for everyone!

Lisa Moroni has written and illustrated her own and books for other writers and has collaborated on many anthologies. She has previously written Watch Out for the Crocodile and the Julia books together with Eva Eriksson.

Kurran’s Treasure is the first picture book she has created on her own.

“This is a clever tale about friendship and the fickleness of nature … a book with a warm and fairy tale-like style that will enthrall.”
