Merry Christman, Molly

Siri Spont, illustrated by Andrea Femerstrand

Christmas Eve is just around the corner! Snow lies white and soft on the ground. Of course, the Shetland ponies Molly and Kotte should be extra cosy in the stable. Their stalls are decorated with baubles and tinsel! When Fanny says that horses can talk on the night before Christmas, Ebba and Wilma get an idea – imagine being able to talk to Molly! If only they dare to sleep on the hayloft… But Christmas morning turns out to be anything but cosy. Molly got out of her stall and found the oat barrel. Eating too much is very dangerous for horses! And it was Ebba who didn’t fasten the latch properly while they were decorating… Poor Molly! What if she doesn’t make it? What if it won’t be a merry Christmas after all…?

A charming and heartfelt story about the Shetland pony Molly. Siri Spont captures friendship, responsibility, and a love of animals  – perfect for young horse lovers!
