Room No. 10

Room No. 10
Åke EdwardsonA young woman is found hanged in a shabby hotel room in Gothenburg. Although she left behind an indecipherable suicide note, most evidence suggests that she was murdered. Erik Winter is called to the scene and realises that he has been there before, eighteen years earlier, in the same hotel, in the same room. It was one of Winter’s first cases, and they were looking for a woman who had disappeared. The trail ended in this very hotel room. The case remained unsolved, but Winter has since been haunted by a nagging feeling that he missed something. There was something in the room he should have seen. Could it matter so many years later? Do the two women perhaps have something more in common than room number 10?
‘Room Number 10 is every bit as good as you would hope a new Winter novel by Åke Edwardson to be.’ Östersunds-Posten
’Edwardson is Sweden’s king of crime fiction. There’s no question about it.’ Borlänge Tidning
