Sagasagor. Fylla år

Josefine Sundström, illustrated by Emma Göthner

It’s Saga’s birthday. She is having a party for her friends and Grandpa is coming to visit. But Saga feels hot and a little strange. Mum says she can taste the meringues straight from the tray, but Saga doesn’t feel like it. And even though the party is fun, she can’t bring herself to chase balloons with her friends. Saga’s party doesn’t turn out to be at all like she expected – but still pretty good, after all.

Josefine Sundström’s smart text and Emma Göthner’s cheerful and empathic illustrations depict a safe everyday life that children can recognise themselves in, laugh at, and be moved by. This story has previously appeared as part of the chapter book Saga’s Stories: Sibling Sickness, Fighting Spirit, and a Stubborn Front Tooth. This new edition comes with a host of new illustrations.
