The Glass Bird’s Grave

The Glass Bird’s Grave
Katarina GenarTyra and her family have just moved in to what seems to be an idyllic town, in the shadow of an old glassworks factory. Rumour has it, the glasswork factory shut down suddenly a long time ago and nobody knows why.
Tyra feels lost and longs to move back to the city and be close to her best friend Nour. One day she finds a small red glass bird lying half-buried in the earth. It wants something from her, but what? She senses that the bird has something to do with the glassworks. At night she has strange dreams about a little boy with a lantern and sometimes she can hear him humming a tune.
Slowly but surely the pieces of the puzzle fall into place, not least thanks to Eddie, the new boy in school. He has kind eyes and a nice dog.
Past and present are weaved together in a suggestive, beautiful and exciting adventure by acclaimed writer Katarina Genar.
