The Last Outpost

Grandpa says that the last outpost is the most beautiful place in the world. It is on the other side of the ocean, deep in the wilderness. There are ice mountains, bottomless lakes and wild animals that will eat you up if you don’t watch your step. And in the summer it all smells of warm pine needles.

Little Bear has never heard of the last outpost but now longs to see it for himself. The two bears set off on a journey to the other side of the world. They are searching for the last outpost – the last piece of wilderness left in the world. But a lot has happened since Grandpa’s time. Will it still be there?
