The Silent Steps Behind

Jonna Björnstjerna

Why does Elsa have to move to the country just because mum and dad have decided to open a guesthouse? And the new house is of course a really old mansion with creaking walls, dismal rooms and winding hallways. It’s not even fun to explore the overgrown garden with its strange stone statues and a labyrinth you can get lost in.

And to top it all her parents seem to think that the strange accidents that have recently occurred are all her fault. Elsa is sure that sometimes they actually wish they had a different child, one who was always nice and helpful…

The Silent Steps Behind is a dark storye, full of magic and excitement with a few characteristic and decorative illustrations.
