In the playground there are ”Those that decide” and ”Those of us that aren’t allowed to be part of the group”. But how come the decisions gets to be made by those that decide? And what can those of us that aren’t allowed to be part of the group do to be allowed to be part of it? Or, wait a minute – do we even want to be part of it? Perhaps we just want to be left in peace.

Lisen Adbåge is back – this time with a picture book about how imaginative, but quieter, children can deal with the children that act like they are in charge of the playground. Using an underdog’s perspective she shows that with the help of integrity and emotional security, creative, imaginative and playful personalities can actually stand up against the kids that are trying to be cool and in charge.
