Not just because her birthday is coming but because she and the best hobby horse in the world, Winner, gets to go out into the woods and ride.

Already when she climbs out of the car at grandpa’s she feels that this summer will be full of adventure.

In grandpa’s garden she finds a lively little dog and soon a girl Vilde’s age shows up.

It’s Cleo who has blue hair and who has just moved into the house on the other side of the lilac hedge.

Not in her wildest dreams could Vilde have thought that she would have a friend who was both nice and funny and who could jump high and run as fast as the wind.

One day Cleo, has an idea that they should arrange their own hobby horse competition.

It proves to be much harder than they first imagined.
