Warm and Cosy Knits – mittens, hats, socks, scarves, sweaters and a bit of lace

Eva Trotzig, Erika Åberg

This book is just bursting with warm and cosy knitted garments for everyday life and more festive occasions. The mittens, scarves, socks, hats and sweaters are garments to love and cherish or even give away.

The authors, Erika Åberg and Eva Trotzig generously share their love and knowledge of knitting in the hope that they will inspire the reader to become bold enough to change, adapt and have fun with the patterns in order to create garments that will become wardrobe favourites.

After a long career as a librarian, library manager and researcher, Eva Trotzig took on a new career as a professional weaver, which is not so strange considering that she has been interested in knitting, crocheting, sewing and weaving ever since she was small. Her previous book Warm Mittens and Socks was a hit in Finland, Norway and even the USA. Eva Trotzig is also the author of Knitting: Tradition and Culture.

Erika Åberg is a writer and qualified handicraft consultant specialising in textiles. She is an experienced adult education teacher and has a passion for knitting, sewing, embroidery and paper cutting.
