Ylvania. The time of the stolen shadows

A few years have passed since the last book and Jiro’s brother Rot, the half-sleeping child, has still not come out of the coma caused by the evil Master’s poison. Jiro is upset that nobody seems to want to help him.

Only the tribal elders know of a way of waking him up, but they don’t dare because there is too much at stake. If Rot wakes up then they don’t know who he might be or who he might become –and there is also a risk that the Master might gain power again through him.

When the four children in the Guardian Star find a way of waking Rot they decide to defy danger and save Jiro’s little brother. The decision takes them on a voyage far out at sea to the heart of Ylvania and the Whirlpool Grave and another legend where all four children have to help one another in order to accomplish the task – and to survive …
