We are thrilled that Cecilia Hansson have been awarded the Eva Bonnier 70th Anniversary Fund Stipend 2025.

“Cecilia Hansson depicts the longing from her origins in Tornedalen to the cities of Europe and not least Kafka’s Prague in a meticulous prose. Serious, knowledgeable and not without humour, she blends her own life […] with her expert knowledge on Frans Kafka. In a poetic yet personal tone, she tells the story of Kafka’s relationship with language and writing, his humor, the women in his life and about love and death. KAFKA’S LUNG is a book rich in wisdom and voices.”

Congratulations Cecilia!
