Eva Bergström

Eva Bergström was born in 1961. She is currently living in Stockholm with her husband and two kids. She works as a junior and middle school teacher, writes stories, music and lyrics on her spare time. When she was young she had several pen pals, had a diary and enjoyed making up stories. In her teens she listened a lot to rock music and when the punk made its breakthrough she formed together with girlfriends a punkband called Mögel(Mold) During that time she started to write music and lyrics, When she was 25 Bergström started to write other text than song lyrics. She has never fully supported herself with her writing and music and has worked at different kindergartens, retirement homes and at the unemployment office. 1999 she became a teacher with Swedish as a second language as speciality. She now works at Kvarnbyskolan in Rinkeby where they work a lot with fiction. Snurran och den osande aborren is her first book; she has written the text and Annika Samuelsson has illustrated it.
