Peter Hanneberg
Peter Hanneberg is a journalist, photographer and biologist who has visited around 70 countries. For the last twenty years he has worked as a nature and travel writer as well as environmental debater for several magazines, and he has also been the editor in chief of the Swedish Environmental Protection Agency. Peter Hanneberg is an Overseas Member of the Seychelles Island Foundation, which administers the two world heritage sites Aldabra and Vellée de Mai. He is on the board of industry organization the Environmental Journalists, a founder of the Swedish Ecotourism Association, and a member of the Travellers Club. He has written several books on topics including the Seychelles, the Swedish national parks, and eco-tourism. Peter is the first writer to have won the WWF’s Panda award three times. He has also received the 2001 Environmental Award of the Swedish Association of Graduate Engineers.
