Charlotte Kalla is one of Sweden’s most successful cross-country skiers. She was born in Tärendö, above the Arctic Circle, and made her debut in the Swedish national team in 2006. In 2008 she made her international breakthrough when she won the Tour de Ski and since then she has won several Olympic and World Championships gold medals.
