Become a new manFrom flabby to red-hot in 60 days

Jonas Leijonhufvud

Do you have bad food habits? Not happy with putting on weight? Is your life too stressful, with too many visits to the pub, and too little time to deal with the problem? If so, Become a new man is the book for you.

Here you will find all you need to get back to your ideal weight, and feel happier, stronger and more energetic than ever before. What is more, you can stay fit for the rest of your life.

The book is in three parts:

1/ Advice from experts about food and training;

2/ 60 days with weekly schedules;

3/ how to keep in shape in your new life.

In Part 1 Jonas picks some experts who can get you from flabby to red-hot in 60 days. Choose between diets that will all bring your weight down quickly: the Mediterranean diet, GI, Stone Age food, the Isodiet or LCHF – what suits you best?

Choose the training method. Train at home or at the gym with personal trainer Jari Ketola. Do a round with martial arts expert Musse Hasselvall, or roadwork with Malin Ewerlöf Krepp. Jonas will help you to set up a simple exercise program, and also keep track of your alcohol consumption plus any stress or sleeping problems.

In Part 2 you set up your own schedule. It is now time for 60 days of blood, sweat and tears. It will be tough. But Jonas gives advice and support, and reminds you of the reward, such as the endorphin rush you will get after just a few weeks as the kilos come off, and you get nearer to your ideal weight.

In Part 3, you will learn how to keep in shape all your life – you have left the old habits behind, like the airy quilted jackets that were supposed to conceal your pot belly. The lifestyle teacher Mai-Lis Hellénius gives advice about healthy eating in the pub.
