The city is placed under lockdown, the royal family is evacuated to safety, and all emergency units are put on high alert. Journalist Jessica Blomqvist receives a phone call from a man claiming responsibility for the attack. He says this is only the first bomb—and that more will follow, one every twenty-four hours.
Homicide investigator Holger Munch is on summer vacation. Mia Krüger has just driven her sister Sigrid to a rehabilitation clinic. Both are jolted out of their downtime and thrown into a hunt that quickly becomes a desperate race against the clock.
They must find the perpetrator.
