Lotta Olsson

Poeten och barnboksförfattaren Lotta Olsson föddes 1973 i Helsingborg. Hon flyttade till Stockholm som 20-åring och debuterade 1994 med den uppmärksammade sonettsamlingen Skuggor och speglingar. Fem år senare kom Prata Persilja, en versberättelse för barn med illustrationer av Maria Jönsson.

Sedan debuten har Lotta fortsatt att skriva både poesi och prosa för såväl barn som vuxna och arbetat som översättare. För sina rappa, eleganta och engagerade texter har hon belönats med flera priser. 2011 blev Lotta tillsammans med illustratören Maria Nilsson Thore Augustprisnominerad för barnboken Konstiga djur.
