Johan Unenge
Johan Unenge, born in 1963 in Stockholm, is a very prolific illustrator. For Unenge illustrating has been a huge part of his life so far – he has been drawing most of his life. He burst onto the illustrating scene a 25 year old with Agent Annorlunda which he created together with Måns Gahrton. And now Unenge is an author as well! “It’s a great felling but at the same time a bit nerve-racking,” he says. He made his debut as an author in 2002. In 2004 his book We who watch was nominated for the Augustprize. Johan Unenge and Måns Gahrton have been working together in a high tempo. Their perhaps most sucessful creation is Adam och Eva. Their partnership has resulted in several successful books, tv series and a motion picture.
