Josefine Sundström
Josefine Sundström (b. 1976) is a Swedish author, journalist, broadcaster, and professional ballet dancer. Her debut novel, Vinteräpplen (Winter apples), was published in 2010 followed by her second one, Boel och Oscar (Boel and Oscar), in 2012. In 2016 Josefine published the first instalment in the Saga’s Stories series which was subsequently chosen as The Children Book of the Year by the Swedish Society of Bookshop Aid. There are currently seven books in the Saga’s Stories series, with the latest ones being ‘The Fire’ and ‘The Theft’, both published in 2020.
In 2020, the TV series based on the books was nominated in the category of ‘The Best Children’s Program of the Year’ by the prestigious Swedish TV award Kristallen.
